Elevator Pitch

Not going to lie about not being too excited about this elevator pitch, but I'm excited to improve on public speaking and having a valuable pitch for future job interviews. When I heard we would be doing an elevator pitch during this class I immediately thought of the movie Love and Other Drugs about the explosion of the drug Viagra. The main character Jake Gyllenhaal is a sales rep for Viagra and has to memorize his pitch perfectly and literally uses it in an elevator to score his first sale.  On to the pitch, Memorizing is key and my thinking is once you've mastered that then everything else becomes easy. The trick is how to memorize and become confident you will not blank out in front of a crowd or become nervous for whatever reason. I know we talked about different ideas in class and they are definitely helpful, but does anyone recommend anything out of the box or have memorizing skills from theater or anything else?
