Usually when I see movie commercials for the first time I will pay attention and give my full focus. When it comes to be the second, third or more times that the commercial is played I begin to lose interest. If its a comedy I am hesitant to see it in theaters because they always show the funniest parts. Act of Valor has been advertising for the last couple weeks on television and I have been excited to watch the same preview over and over again. They use highly realistic scenes as if out of a documentary and let the viewers know that these are active serving navy seals displaying procedures they practice on the norm. The last movie I was this excited to see was The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo because I have read the book. Navy seals have been a hot topic since seal team 6 was able to get Osama Bin Laden, so its not surprising they have finally come out with a movie depicting exactly what the seals are all about. I expect the movie to get good reviews and high box office sales with their prime timing and encouraging advertisement.

  1. I agree that movie looks to be extremely good based on how realistic it looks and the credibility they present with active seals. It is a solid commercia, being clear, concrete and leaving you wanting to see the rest of the movie .
