Jet Blue

Today I took Jet Blue airlines for another trip and was once again very content with my travel experience. Jet Blue lets you keep your points and guarantee that they won't expire or blackout certain dates. In the beginning of the flight they told passengers that there will be turbulence during the flight and be prepared, however within the first 10 minutes they were able to find the right altitude giving the smoothest ride. The flight attendants once again catered to all of my needs which was a pair of head phones and an extra water, not to mention Jet Blue gives the most leg room. If any airlines know how to advertise their company, I would have to put Jet Blue and SouthWestern at the top. The whole package comes with Jet Blue, direct tv, extra leg room, better than average service all for a bit more of a price.

  1. I do agree that JetBlue is the cream of the crop in the airline industry, but I think they could market their services better. I didn't know about all of their offerings until you just mentioned it! I have a loyalty points account with Delta and United, but they just raised the amount of miles you need to be able to get a free flight, PLUS they expire! So I would like to see more commercials from them to be able to make these offerings better known. Or do you think that word-of-mouth is sufficient?

  2. I agree with Jillian in her saying that JetBlue could do a better job marketing their services. I also wasn't aware of all that they offered and never considered them any different than the rest of the airline companies out there. One thing that I think airline companies all are having trouble with is their marketing campaigns. Regardless of everything good that they have to offer, it never will be like it used to be ten years ago.

  3. You have to remember though that Jet Blue did do alot of Ad campagins in the past, but they are a low cost airline which means cutting costs whenever they can. My 2 flights over spring break were filled flights so it seems that they are doing well with word of mouth advertising and attracting customers through the lowest prices. I think that when their flights show up on travel sites with the lowest tickets, that is a major atrraction for customers.
